Template access restriction

Control access to course templates with fine-grained restrictions. Templates can be limited based on user roles, specific cohorts, course categories, or a combination of these criteria.

Moreover, templates can also be restricted by an individual user. This supports workflows where non-admin users – like regular trainers – create templates, but access is approved or expanded by someone with higher permissions. For example, a trainer skilled in content or branding can create a template, and a lead trainer or administrator can then enable access for a broader group.

By default, standard teachers do not have permission to create templates. However, this capability can be granted as needed – offering flexibility without compromising governance.
