The Users datasource provides administrators with a comprehensive list of users within the LMS, including any custom profile fields that have been configured. With this datasource, admins have full control over which user details are displayed, allowing for a tailored user experience. Whether it’s showing basic information like first names and email addresses, or more advanced details such as ID numbers and user pictures, admins can customize the displayed fields to suit their needs.

Additionally, admins can enable various filter options such as Group, Department, First login, Credits, or Promotion, among others. These filter options streamline the process of accessing specific user information, ensuring that users can easily find the data they require.

Furthermore, admins have the flexibility to limit data based on conditions such as logged-in user, my students, my groups, current course, and users I manage. This capability enables admins to display targeted information relevant to specific user groups or courses. For instance, admins can showcase all users enrolled in the current course and accompany it with a warm welcoming message. Alternatively, they can create a gallery featuring user images of all enrolled users, to give the course a personal touch.
