The expiry settings allow you to set a time limit for user access by selecting either a fixed date or a duration in days, weeks, months, or years. When enabled, several actions can be taken upon expiry:
- Suspend user: Temporarily disables a user’s account, blocking system access until suspension is lifted.
- Delete user: Permanently removes a user’s account and associated data from the system.
- Add to cohort: Assigns the user to a specific cohort, granting access to resources or courses tied to that group.
- Remove from cohort: Unassigns the user from a cohort, restricting access to group-specific resources.
- Unassign global role: Revokes a user’s global role, removing related permissions and access across the system.
- Notify before expiry: Sends notifications to users before their expiration date to alert them and allow for any necessary actions.
