Here’s a quick overview of everything Magic can do!

Easy login with Magic authentication

Magic simplifies sign-in and sign-up with email based verification and time-limited “Magic links”. This password-free authentication enhances both security and convenience. For new users, Magic can instantly create accounts, eliminating unnecessary sign-up barriers.

Smart login page

The smart login page provides minimalist alternative to Moodle’s standard login process by reducing the interface to a single email input and dynamically presenting relevant fields as needed.

Create and edit user accounts

For course managers and teachers, Magic streamlines participant management with a fast registration logic (“quick registration”), allowing them to quickly add or manage participants. Moreover, Magic offers a user table that displays users authenticated via Magic, either at the site level or the parent level. Authorized users can perform various actions such as editing, deleting, suspending, copying invitation links, sending invitation links and overriding invitation links.

Relative role assignments

Synchronize user relationships based on user profile information. Relationships can include parent-child, teacher-student, trainer-trainee, mentor-mentee, or even personal demo accounts. If a user is to be linked to others in a relationship, they are mapped and connected through a unique identifier (e.g. email address). For users who don’t already exist on the platform, an account is automatically created and made accessible via a Magic link, establishing the relationship accordingly.

Campaigns

Users benefit from automated workflows that allow them to handle processes quickly and independently, while still maintaining authorization boundaries. These workflows are organized into “campaigns,” which can be tailored to a variety of use cases: from lead generation forms in marketing to managing permissions within an enterprise platform. Campaigns can also be set up with automated notifications and, with an upcoming release, will include approval processes – a feature especially valuable for compliance purposes.

With Magic, workflows that used to require extensive coordination can now be automated, empowering users and making life easier for course managers.
