Each visual element representing an activity can be placed anywhere on the course’s interactive canvas. This flexibility allows for the design of custom learning worlds, where students can navigate through the content, uncovering activities as they explore.
We have created several demo courses in the Level Maps format that you can explore.
In this design, a polygon is visible in the background with points placed at its vertices, representing the activities. When an activity is completed, it lights up. The course creator decides where each activity is placed. The number of activities in this design is very flexible, as many points can be displayed.
In this design, activities should be positioned in meaningful places. Some activities are represented by houses, with their status indicated by a pin. These houses should be placed in an open spot along the road. Other activities, like the hot air balloon, can be located anywhere in the sky.
