Activities in popups

Enhance the user experience by enabling activities to open in modal popups instead of redirecting to new pages. This feature keeps learners in the same navigational context, reducing distraction and enhancing focus on the learning content.

Please note: This functionality is compatible with selected activities that support modal popups. It requires the installation of the “Popup Activities” format, which can be acquired from the Moodle plugins directory (https://moodle.org/plugins/format_popups). A comprehensive list of supported activities is also available for reference.
