Activity-based notifications allow you to send emails directly from a Pulse activity, triggered by what learners actually do inside the course. Instead of relying on complex automation rules, these notifications react to completion events, approval steps, and other activity-specific conditions.

This ensures that messages are tightly integrated into the learner’s journey: notifications are sent precisely when a learner finishes an activity, submits work, or reaches a progress checkpoint.
