Administrators have the option to define custom empty state information for Dash blocks. In cases where no data is available for the defined Dash, administrators can integrate fallback content. Utilizing a text editor, admins can insert informative messages or instructions tailored for empty states, and style this content with common text editor options including text colors, alignment, lists, links, and images.
This feature serves not only for effective error management but also for proactive user engagement. For instance, if there are no courses or employees listed, indicating a potential issue, admins can enable users to easily reach out to the responsible person for resolution.
Alternatively, if admins prefer not to define an empty state, they have the option to automatically hide blocks when they are empty. Empty blocks are remaining invisible until data becomes available.
