Attempt management

Grades are generated from H5P and Questions elements that are configured via the question bank. If grading is enabled, course creators can choose whether students need to start an attempt manually or if an auto-attempt should begin automatically when the student enters the content.

With the auto-attempt setting, users automatically start an attempt and can resume their last attempt upon reopening the activity. To finish an attempt, a dedicated “Finish Attempt” button is available in the outro element.

Additionally, course creators can define whether a maximum number of attempts is allowed or if students have unlimited tries.

In this case the student has to start the attempt manually.

After finishing the attempt, students can start a new one depending on the configuration.
